The Hamora record spans a lifetime of ideas forged into something tangible and realized over the course of a meticulous three year recording process. It was originally released in 2016 under the title “Legacy of the Haunted”, the title track of the record which represents the pursuit of musical creation to an unhealthy and obsessive degree.
The record features a number quotes and audio clips from prominent figures such as Salvador Dali, Robert Oppenheimer and Stephen Hawking.
The majority of the recording took place in Reno Nevada with the live drums and drum production taking place in Boston Massachusetts. Drum tracks were performed by Drummer Mark Castillo and produced by Rick Merriam.
The visual representation of the record was a primary focus and features custom art by Loren Olsen and nazakine. The digital booklet and printed artwork features classics from Jean Baptiste and other Renaissance and old world masters.
